Arne Frøiland joins Spectraseis board

Arne Frøiland of Norsk Hydro has joined the Spectraseis board of directors as a non-executive director
Oslo-based Frøiland is Managing Director of Hydro's Technology Ventures unit. He joined Hydro in December 2004 from Det Norske Veritas Venture (DNV) where he was responsible for establishing a corporate venture team with an investment focus on the energy and maritime sectors. Prior to DNV, Arne was Founder and CEO of Applied Plasma Physics AS, a Norwegian environmental technology company. Frøiland has 10 years earlier experience as a business consultant at Andersen Consulting, A.T. Kearney and Gemini Consulting. He holds a MSc in physics and mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway and a MBA from the London Business School.
