Spectraseis Strengthens Board with Jean Chevallier Appointment

Spectraseis, the leading provider of low frequency passive seismic geophysical solutions to the upstream oil & gas industry, today announced that Jean Chevallier has joined its board as a non-executive director.
Mr. Chevallier recently retired as Vice President Industry Affairs of Schlumberger Ltd, where he held a variety of senior management positions during a 36-year career.

Jean Chevallier spent his entire career with Schlumberger, the world's leading oilfield services firm. During this time he held a variety of senior management positions around the world in the oilfield services and as Schlumberger CIO and President of Omnes. Mr. Chevallier graduated MSc in physics from the University of Montpellier in France and holds an engineering degree in naval architecture and mechanical engineering from the Ecole Nationale Superieure du Genie Maritime (ENSTA) in Paris.

The appointment follows two recent additions to the Spectraseis board last year - Ian Vann, former Group Vice President for Exploration & Business Renewal at BP, and Bjarte Fagerås, Chairman of Octio Geophysical AS.
