Spectraseis provides comprehensive data acquisition services, including survey design, field equipment and personnel. We will also work with your geophysical teams to integrate our services within a conventional 2D/3D seismic or scouting operation.

Marine Surveys

Spectraseis is developing marine technology with operating partners to provide efficient marine surveys using advanced, recoverable ocean-bottom sensors. The current OBS system used is engineered for water depths to over 4000m and has been successfully applied in thousands of deployments.

Data processing and analysis

Our proprietary signal processing and analysis methods are designed to extract reliable, transparent results from complex LF datasets, using analysis of multiple attributes in both time and frequency domains. Spectraseis processing methods are protected by over 10 patent applications.

Modeling and studies

Spectraseis applies advanced numerical modeling techniques to test new applications prior to investment in field data acquisition programs. Lateral and vertical resolution of a survey can be estimated and sensor locations can be optimized.

Software

Our RIO proprietary software suite is a fast and reliable processing toolbox to read, check, store, process and analyze data, and to generate various outputs (templates, reports, maps). It was developed by Spectraseis to automatically perform several processing and analysis procedures.
