Philipp Wespi
Digital signal researcher/processor
Your experience of applying advanced signal processing techniques to solve a broad range of noise and signal quality challenges will make you one of the most valuable people on our team. You’ll be an in-house expert on what’s been tried, what might work and what could still be explored. You’ll have an advanced degree and 5-10 years of experience working with a wide range of seismic data. But your special ability is conceiving new solutions that go beyond the conventional processing toolkit. At Spectraseis you’ll be an author of software and your name could soon be on some high profile publications and patents. Your knowledge and creativity will unlock information others have missed.
Geoscience interpreter
You’re the person everyone is looking for. Your skill lies in developing and championing successful exploration wells. You can visualize data and trends at both a high level and in detail to develop a compelling story that encompasses all available information. You’re a good communicator and know how to present and sell your prospects. You would lead our interpretation work and help put the insights of our top-tier research team into the context of multiple types of subsurface data. You will present your results to top management at some of the world’s largest producers. 10-20+ years experience is needed to succeed in this role.
Account Managers
This is an exciting role where you will be accountable for leading Spectraseis business development for a geographical area or a specific group of clients. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new low frequency passive seismic opportunities, from acquisition to processing to interpretation. Your role includes developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels as well as meeting clearly defined sales targets. You have already several years (5+) of successful sales experience in the oilfield services domain, preferably in geophysics. We have open positions in London, Zurich, Houston and Abu Dhabi. We offer a competitive remuneration package with commission-based bonuses.
