Overview

OST (Online Survey Tracker) combines the power of Google Earth with live survey data acquired by Spectraseis to put the latest survey data updates at your fingertips. It is a web application which produces dynamic data in the format of KML (a file format used to display geographic data in an GIS browser, such as Google Earth ). A whole set of options and a user-friendly interface gives the possibility to completely personalize the way of representing data.

Supported platforms

OST is a web application and can be run on any modern web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.). Thanks to the multiplatform support of Google Earth, OST provides you with the possibility to view survey information at any computer device supporting Google Earth.

Options

You can fully customize the way of representing data on the map. The following categories of options are present in OST:

• Data options (point IDs, coordinates, duration of collected data, timestamps, etc.)
• Comments options
• Photo options (view photos at points where data has been recorded)
• Image options (view images with results of analyzed data, or use your own)
• Different types of point identifiers
